The Norseman is equipped with twin engines and the latest electronics including marine radios, radar, GPS, fishfinder, and an auto pilot.

FAQ

Q. Do you mix different parties together to share the cost?
A. No, we only charter your party. It is up to you how many people you will bring. You may have anywhere between one and six people.

Q. Are one day fishing license available onboard?

A. Yes

Q. Can we bring children?
A. Yes.

Q. How many people can we have per boat?
A. Six people maximum per boat.

Q. What if we have 7-12 people in our party?
A. We can arrange multiple boat charters

Q. What do we do with the fish we catch?
A. We will clean and bag all fish for your trip home. (Excluding perch charters).

Q. Do you provide all the fishing equipment?
A. Yes.

Q. What do we do if it is raining on the day of our charter?
A. It depends on the severity of the rain and weather. It will be the captain's call as whether to cancel or not. It may be raining where you are staying but not at our dock or not out to the area we are going fishing. We do have rain gear for everyone on board if needed. Many times it will be a brief passing shower and will not affect us. We may cancel, switch to a different day or time, or issue a rain check. Safety will be the priority.

Q. Is it customary to tip the captain and how much?
A. Yes, if you enjoyed your trip, a tip of 15-20% is customary for the captain.

A. Saint Joseph, Michigan

Q. Do you require a deposit down?
A. Yes, $100.00 deposit. The deposit will be refunded if you cancel prior to 14 days before the trip. If the charter is canceled due to weather, we will reschedule or refund the deposit.

Q. What do we need to bring?
A. Suggestions include something to snack on, a camera, suntan lotion and sun glasses and a cooler to take home your catch.
